Due to its location in the center of Europe, Koelnmesse can be quickly reached by trains of Deutsche Bahn from many cities in Germany and abroad. In addition, the Köln Messe/Deutz station for high-speed trains is located directly next to the exhibition grounds.

A booking by phone is possible, please mention the keyword Koelnmesse. The hotline of Deutsche Bahn +49 180 6 31 11 53 is open Mondays to Saturdays from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm (There is a charge of EUR 0.20 per call from a German landline and a maximum of EUR 0.60 per call from mobile networks).
The journey needs to be booked at least 3 days in advance. Bookings are train-specific and subject to availability. You’ll receive a fully flexible ticket without specification of a train and in unlimited availability for a supplement of 40.00 Euro.
The entrance ticket for the fair is not included. Prices are not valid for Thalys.
A cancellation or refund is possible until 1 day prior to arrival for a fee of each ticket. Valid are the terms and conditions of Deutsche Bahn for Sparpreise/Saver fares. On the first day of validity tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged.
From 4th of November 2014 on the Deutsche Bahn charges a fee on payment by credit card and Paypal. Please find more information here.

Koelnmesse GmbH is no tour operator as defined in the German Civil Code (Article §§ 651a ff. BGB). The General Terms and Conditions of Deutsche Bahn AG apply. Koelnmesse GmbH does not accept any liability.

Your Admission Ticket serves as Public Transport Ticket (VRS):
For the duration of the respective trade fair, all admission tickets and trade fair passes that display the symbol of the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Sieg ( VRS
) are valid for free travel on busses, S-Bahns (commuter trains), underground trains, and regional trains within the extended VRS network.
Exception: For the gamescom tickets and trade fair passes that display the symbol of the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr ( VRR
) are also valid.
They are only valid for travel to and from the Koelnmesse exhibition centre. Not included are Deutsche Bahn trains that are subject to a supplementary charge as for instance IC/EC or ICE.
