State & Trends of the Carbon Market

The World Bank’s annual report Mapping Carbon Pricing Initiatives and IETA’s Market Sentiment Report were both launched on Day 1 of CARBON EXPO 2013. Both surveys show that domestic and regional policy developments are expected to be more important to drive the carbon markets than the global process in the short-term. The same day IETA also presented the 2013 State of the Voluntary Carbon Markets Report in cooperation with Ecosystem Marketplace.
