SNIEC is located in the economic, finance and trade center of Shanghai � PUDONG, between the New International Airport and Shanghai city center, and can be reached via the subway, public bus services or the highway. The "Transrapid" maglev train now stops at the exhibition center as well. Pudong is a special economic zone in Shanghai which is being expanded to become the new business and trade center in China�s largest city.
The technical infrastructure, equipment and services of the SNIEC meet the highest international standards. That also applies to the SNIEC�s sophisticated architecture. Following the first phase of construction, the SNIEC has now 7 halls with 80,500 sqm of gross exhibition space and 20,000 sqm of outdoor exhibition space. Once completed, it will have a total of 17 halls with 200,000 sqm of hall space and 50,000 sqm of outdoor exhibition space.
The self-supporting halls have a clearance height of 11 meters, 11,000 sq.meters of gross exhibition space each and meet all technical requirements. They also have impressive glass facades on the upper level and along the sides. All exhibition halls are column-free and in one storey construction. The roof of each hall is covered with a fiberglass membrane allowing soft daylight into the halls.

There will be shuttle busses between the Long Yang Road subway station and SNIEC during the event (ten minutes on foot).
Taxi from downtown costs about RMB 60.
