To continue with the successful concept of a triple event in 2007, Koelnmesse is to establish a new satellite event of their portfolio in Germany:
International Sweet & SnackTec China 2007 will have its premiere held alongside World of food China and Sweets China 2007 in Shanghai to cover all aspects of the confectionery industry, from special raw materials and ingredients to machines, facilities and packaging.

For the last edition in September 2006, there was unanimous praise for the synergy effects between the three related trade fairs that took place parallel. In 2006 for the first time, World of food China and International FoodTec China/Interfood Shanghai were held alongside Sweets China, which was launched in Shanghai in 2004.

World of food China showcases end products from the food and beverage sector, while International FoodTec China/Interfood Shanghai focuses on the Chinese market for food technology. Through this trade fair trio, Koelnmesse presented the entire food sector, from production to the finished product, at one time and in one place.

The new event International Sweet & SnackTec China will be alternating with International FoodTec China biennially to complete the successful strategy of the trade fair trio.
