A Carbon Neutral CARBON EXPO
We are pleased to announce that CARBON EXPO 2010 is going to offset its GHG emissions emitted onsite during the event in partnership with GARRIGUES and AENOR.
GARRIGUES MEDIO AMBIENTE, the consultancy branch of GARRIGUES, will carry out the inventory and offsetting, while the process will be verified by AENOR.
GHG emissions within Koelnmesse premise will be calculated ex-ante,monitored during the event (between 25th and 29th, both included) and adjusted ex-post.
Voluntary Emission Reductions will be retired accordingly in order to make CARBON EXPO 2010 carbon neutral. In addition to this, it is of crucial importance and understanding to the co-organizing partners that participating delegates will responsibly carry out the offsetting of the emissions linked to their travel to the event.
