A host of services is available to all journalists to ensure smooth information flow.
- Issue of press cards, parking permits and catalogues
- Display of Koelnmesse press releases and product information of exhibitors
- Supported press computer workstations with CD-ROM drives, Internet and e-mail access, computer fax and communication interfaces for portable computers/laptops
- Koelnmesse photo service: Digital image material on CD-ROM concerning each trade fair, Koelnmesse and the city of Cologne; online distribution of visual motifs; color prints upon request.
- Koelnmesse TV service of the German Television News Agency (DFA): The DFA offers material on each event to all broadcasters free of charge, including an approx. 10-minute rough cut of interviews with important representatives of the relevant sector (with the original soundtrack), visual materials that make a strong impact, and a ready-to-broadcast introductory clip and background report for each event. The different elements and rough cuts that are put together to make a feed are transmitted via satellite but can also be ordered via ATM cable or by mail (on Beta-SP). An additional camera team and a local editor are available for this purpose.

Public Transport free of charge |
|
Public Transport free of charge: Visitors, exhibitors and journalists can use their admission tickets during the fair to travel free of charge on all public transport, such as buses (airport shuttle Cologne/Bonn included), trams and local trains in and around Cologne. This does not apply to German Railways' (DB) trains which are subject to supplements.
