Koelnmesse to Provide Original Sound Footage for Journalists
Koelnmesse introduces a new service

Koelnmesse has announced that it will be making a new service available to journalists this year. As of now, it will further expand its extensive radio services by offering media representatives the possibility of listening directly on the Internet to original footage of press conferences held before trade fairs and events during the fairs. The footage can then be downloaded as needed at a level of quality that can be directly broadcast.

Whether a journalist wishes to review what was said during a press conference or to find a catchy quote for an article or broadcast, Koelnmesse's radio service will provide exactly the original footage that's needed. The footage is available for downloading in broadcast quality in MP3 format and, if necessary, can also be listened to quickly and conveniently in a lower-quality version before being downloaded. Journalists can choose between short takes of individual statements, longer sections of spoken presentations, and complete presentations already prepared for broadcasting.

Each available selection is accompanied by information about the contents, the speaker, the length of the take and the file size of the download version. Naturally, the selections are edited in such a way that individual sections can be incorporated into a journalist's own report quickly and easily. It's simple to gain access to this new service, since users only need to fill out a short registration form. This will give journalists access to all of the original footage currently available from Koelnmesse footage that will remain accessible long after a trade fair is over. To find the audio footage, users should click on the "Press" link of the event in question.
