As an approved Offset Project Registry for the California Cap-and-Trade Program, ACR works with the state regulatory agency to oversee the registration and issuance of compliance-eligible Registry Offset Credits. Established in 1996 as the first voluntary GHG registry in the world, ACR has over 15 years of unparalleled experience in the development of rigorous, science-based offset methodologies and operational experience in the oversight of offset project verification, registration, offset issuance and retirement reporting."


American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE)

ACORE, a non-profit membership organization, is dedicated to building a secure and prosperous America with clean, renewable energy. ACORE provides a common educational platform for a wide range of interests in the renewable energy community, focusing on technology, finance and policy.  They convene thought leadership forums and create energy industry partnerships to communicate the economic, security and environmental benefits of renewable energy.
 

BUSINESSEUROPE

BUSINESSEUROPE plays a crucial role in Europe as the main horizontal business organisation at EU level. Through its 41 member federations, BUSINESSEUROPE represents more than 20 million companies from 35 countries. Its main task is to ensure that companies' interests are represented and defended vis-à-vis the European institutions with the principal aim of preserving and strengthening corporate competitiveness.

Carbon Market Institute

The CMI is an independent not-for-profit company limited by guarantee. The CMI's team acknowledges the significant funding support provided by the Victorian Government in establishing the Institute.

The Union of the Electricity Industry - EURELECTRIC is the sector association which represents the common interests of the whole electricity industry at pan-European level, plus its affiliates and associates on several other continents. The Environmental Forum Foundation, aims to create a platform for dialogue and collaboration between business, government and the rest of society in order to jointly achieve more sustainable development model than today.

Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES)

Established by an initiative of the Japanese government in 1998, is a research institute that conducts pragmatic and innovative strategic policy research to support sustainable development in Asia-Pacific Region. Climate and Energy Area conducts research to support the effective introduction and implementation of market mechanism in Asian countries by providing straightforward and useful information to the business community, and will contribute to practical policy making by conveying the viewpoint of affected businesses to policy makers. Research components include new market mechanism capacity building, CDM reform and research on emission trading. Climate and Energy Area has a large number of publications and databases related to CDM/JI. IGES also has signed Memorandum of Understandings (MOU) with UNFCCC secretariat in 2012 and implementing the collaboration on CDM/JI data exchange since then.
 

Inter-American Development Bank (IDB)

IDB support efforts by Latin America and the Caribbean countries to reduce poverty and inequality. IDB aims to bring about development in a sustainable, climate-friendly way.
Established in 1959, they are the leading source of development financing for Latin America and the Caribbean, with a strong commitment to achieve measurable results, increasedintegrity, transparency and accountability. IDB has an evolving reform agenda that seeks to increase our development impact in the region. 

 

International Chamber of Commerce (ICC)

ICC is - and has been throughout its long existence -  a steadfast rallying point for those who believe, like our founders, that strengthening commercial ties among nations is not only good for business but good for global living standards and good for peace. To that end, ICC provides a forum for businesses and other organizations to examine and better comprehend the nature and significance of the major shifts taking place in the world economy. 



International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM)

The ICMM was founded in 2001 to improve sustainable development performance in the mining and metals industry. Today, they bring together 22 mining and metals companies as well as 34 national and regional mining associations and global commodity associations to address core sustainable development challenges. ICMM now serves as an agent for change and continual improvement on issues relating to mining and sustainable development.
